The Lucky Charms of Monsieur Dior.
The number 8, a Gold Star,
Two Love-hearts, A Four-leaf Clover, A Piece of Wood,
and A Gold Coin- those symbolic objects have been superstitiously regarded as
the lucky charms, the emblem of Dior couture,
to Monsieur Dior.

Right now, the house of Dior is under the supervision and inspiration of Maria Grazia Chiuri, the first ever female creative director in its glamorous history.
With only 6 weeks’ preparation to infiltrate the soul and spirit of Dior into Spring Ready-to-wear 2017 collections, Maria boldly blended her unique fashion taste and avant-garde ideas with the trademarks of Monsieur Dior and his lucky talismans- the number8, love-hearts, clover, and the tarot-card-inspired into the sumptuously embroidered full-length dresses, and the series of astrological signs and four-leaf clovers tulle skirts.
Throughout the lineup, series of astrological signs explain Monsieur Dior’s belief system. “Chance,” as written in the autobiographical memoir Dior by Dior, “always comes to the aid of those who really want something.”
